This looks extremely real in a disturbing 'uncanny valley' sort of way. Is this more Sketch Book Pro?

Hi KW

SBP indeed.

I really enjoy drawing with it for sure.

The "uncanny valley" thing? Not sure I totally agree, as I've always thought of that as being a "negative" thing.

I'm hoping that this captures a character in a illustrative cartoony way, and not in the Polar Express way, which I find totally creepy and unappealing.

Thanks for the visit as always!!

Hey Willie, I haven't been by for ages; too busy to browse and less time on a computer. Even more amazed at your digital drawing and painting skills, and your...fecund...imagination. Hope all's well!

Hello Clive

So nice to hear from you. You are most welcome here anytime!

Thanks for the kind words....I've always been a huge fan of your stuff so this means a great deal to me.

Take care and thanks for dropping by!

Willy, you are right. The Polar Express characters looked like dead reanimated bodies, and ever so slightly malformed. Not too much, only enough to make them disturbing.

This guy looks snuggly, even though he's monstrous.

I've tried watching Polar "Excess" 3 times and can't get past the first 5 minutes. I've seen various sections while it was on TV over the years and I find it so unappealing.

Thanks for the visit!

Willy, you are wise to avoid it. I got rooked into going to see it. It's been several years now and I still haven't forgiven somebody for it.
