To my knowledge i've never seen Mole-Man as I'm not a pure comics guy. I don't read them...i just buy the occaisional best of, or history of, just for the art.
It's hard not to be influenced i guess, but i can tell you this guy came about during a sleepless night this winter, and was a quick pencil sketch in my sketch book originally.
